Original recipe: accidentally awesome cabin ice cream
sweetened condensed milk
dissolved in cold water to make a slurry
white hot chocolate mix
Combine all ingredients except vanilla extract and liqueur in saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Remove saucepan from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in vanilla flavourings.
Pour custard into a shallow pan (a baking pan is fine) and chill thoroughly in fridge or freezer.
Churn chilled custard in ice cream machine 15 minutes or according to manufacturer instructions.
Use soft serve ice cream as is or transfer it into a container to freeze hard.
